This box is made from maple, walnut, padauk, wenge and purple heart hardwoods and started the same as all my similar boxes being made from a single block of different types of wood laminated together and cut out with a bandsaw. Has a wax oil finish. Has 2 small felt lined drawers that work good for holding jewelry and other smaller items.
